Noah's path is varied: performing his own music and performing featured cello for the likes of Renee Fleming, Philip Glass, and Natalie Merchant. He played on the 2020 Grammy-winning Finding Gabriel by Brad Mehldau and is a regular band member for Krishna Das, “the rock star of the yoga world,” where his commitment to the spiritual path finds expression in music. Later this year, Noah will release Love Rules, an instrumental album of meditative and groove-oriented music with collaborator-pianist Wells Hanley, along with famed Mark Egan on fretless bass and tabla-player Arjun Bruggerman, both of the Krishna Das band.
A longtime devotee of yoga and meditation, Hoffeld believes in the power of reflection to create meaningful change, and takes to heart Gandhi's 'Be the change you wish to see in the World.” 'Play Human' incites us to take a bigger view of life, and to stand up for one another, asking 'Why don't we all play human for a change? Loving each other shouldn't be out of range."
Noah is endorsed by Moog Synthesizers and NS electric cellos, and is a Ricci Artist, touring with the world's finest carbon fiber cello
